How to Print Mother’s Day Coloring Pages

  1. Download the PDF for the sheet you want (the PNG works too, for example to open in a photo app).
  2. Print at 100% / “Actual size”. The pages are already US Letter with a half-inch white margin. On A4 paper choose “Fit to page” and they still look right.
  3. Use plain white paper for crayons and colored pencils. For markers or watercolor, a heavier sheet (24 lb or card stock) stops bleed-through. Buy card stock on Amazon.
  4. Print in black-and-white or “grayscale” to save color ink. The art is pure black lines, so it prints sharply in draft mode, too.
  5. Pick a finer pen for the detailed pages. The mandala and bouquet have small shapes, so sharp colored pencils or fine-tip markers work best. Colored pencils on Amazon and washable markers for kids are good starting points.

Fun Ways to Use These Coloring Pages

  • Make a card. Color the page, fold it in half, and write a message on the back. The heart wreath has an empty heart in the middle for a drawing or a note.
  • Classroom or group activity. Teachers, scout leaders and caregivers are welcome to print copies for a class or group.
  • Mother-and-child coloring date. Print two copies of the same sheet and color side by side.
  • Gift wrap or frame. A finished sheet makes a sweet wrapper for a small gift, or a framed keepsake. Browse more handmade gift ideas and Mother’s Day crafts.
